The College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM), the UK’s leading training provider of a range of natural therapies, is looking to appoint an experienced lecturer for the new hybrid acupuncture course, set to launch in September 2023. Within the team of acupuncture lecturers, you will be responsible for the TCM Pathology unit, which is a Level 5 module taught in the second year of our three-year Diploma course.

Key responsibilities

  • Filming nine TCM Pathology lectures (based on our recently rewritten PowerPoint slides) in a professional studio in East Grinstead. Filmed lectures will be made available to students on our new hybrid acupuncture course.
  • Holding online tutorials to discuss students’ questions about the TCM Pathology module.
  • Acting as personal tutor to a number of students.
  • Supervising in the CNM student clinic (optional).
  • Attending Acupuncture Specialism Board meetings and participating in discussions about students’ performance and the development of the course.

Person specification

  • At least five years of clinical experience as a TCM Acupuncturist.
  • Evidence of a naturopathic approach to acupuncture.
  • A passion for sharing your understanding of Chinese medicine with students.
  • Experience in lecturing Chinese medicine or delivering Chinese medicine workshops.
  • Experience or ease in delivering lectures to the camera.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5.30 pm

At CNM, we are the leading training provider in the UK for Natural therapies, and we have our own campus in central London with attached clinic rooms.

We are looking for a passionate Clinic Director on a full-time, permanent basis. The ideal candidate has experience in running clinics, managing patients and therapists and knows how to market clinics. Ideally, you will have a background in marketing and sales as well.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Overall leadership and operations management of the clinic, its practitioners, and clients.
  • Identify the sales, advertising, and public relations programs necessary to attract the targeted sources of business.
  • Create successful marketing campaigns which result in increased business for the clinic.
  • Manage SEO, Social Media, partnerships and other advertising opportunities.
  • Establish goals and monitor performance to meet targets.
  • Appointing and quality check therapists working in the CNM professional clinic.
  • Implementing new processes to drive quality improvements initiative through the clinic.

The ideal candidate:

  • Previous experience in running clinics.
  • Experience in marketing and sales.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise, meet deadlines and operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passionate about natural therapies, health, naturopathy, nutrition or related fields.
