I never anticipated that doing the Natural Chef course would lead to me taking over and rebranding a café in London’s Soho, but it did!

As a Diet and Lifestyle Consultant, I set out on CNM’s Natural Chef course so I could extend my therapeutic menu planning for my clients, based on naturopathic health principles. Gaining practical, hands-on experience and recipe writing skills were things I found especially useful and enjoyable.

The internship was a invaluable experience

An important part of the training is doing an internship in a busy commercial kitchen so that you can experience the high level of precision needed to run a successful restaurant or event. My input on how to make dishes even healthier based on the knowledge I had learnt was warmly welcomed.

I’m doing my dream job!

I founded So Pure café in Soho where we offer scrumptious and nutritious dishes catering for vegetarian, vegan, raw-food, dairy and gluten-free diets. Developing fresh seasonal menus can be a challenge, but equally, it’s lots of fun. The café is packed every day, so I can only assume there is a real need for what we offer. I’m so glad that I pursued my passion and went for it!
